# Frontier labs beyond OpenAI and Anthropic: capital, competition and demand

## Summary

- Financing outcomes differ: Meta generated **$0.784bn free cash flow in Q2 2026**, while Cursor’s **$60.0bn stock acquisition closed on 2026-08-14**, about **2.05× its November 2025 valuation**. Cursor is now a SpaceX subsidiary; selected independent labs’ sustainable profitability remains unestablished (rows 30–31, 46, 54).
- Released **2026-10-20**, SpaceX’s Q3 SI segment reported **$7.560bn revenue, $431m operating profit and $16.444bn capex**, versus Q2’s **$2.561bn revenue/$1.257bn operating loss**. Q3 includes **$608m Cursor revenue** after its August 14 closing; advertising, infrastructure and acquired software sales prevent reading segment growth as Grok adoption. Capex/revenue fell from **6.2× in Q2 to 2.2× in Q3**, without establishing self-funded growth (rows 2–3, 31, 54, 56).
- At **2026-09-30**, SpaceX’s related-party financing aggregate was **$12.897bn**, down **$432m** from June’s **$13.329bn** Valor balance; related-party interest rose from **$327m in Q2 to $351m in Q3**. September’s exhibit does not identify the creditor; attributing all of it to Valor remains an inference. Group nine-month capex of **$48.069bn** exceeded operating cash of **$13.097bn**, despite SI’s operating-profit turn (rows 7, 52, 56).
- Selected **2025–2026 rounds through 2026-10-17 total $30.98bn**, of which **58.75% is Prometheus**. This is neither lifetime funding nor a verified low/zero-revenue census (rows 12–22, 40, 48).
- Mistral’s **2026-09-08 valuation exceeded €21bn**, over **23.3× its reported €900m year-end ARR target**; its infrastructure also has **$830m limited-recourse financing**, announced 2026-03-30. Strategic backing and product progress do not establish investment returns (rows 10–11, 36, 41, 44–45).
- Glean reported **$300m ARR**, dated **2026-05-28** in the earlier source record (the page body does not independently establish that date). Adding app sales to suppliers’ receipts double-counts overlapping purchases; Cursor’s **2026-08-14** absorption into SpaceX and apps’ own models further complicate supplier pass-through (rows 31, 34, 38, 51).
- The **$9.08bn seven-lab subtotal (2025–26 rounds through 2026-10-17)** measures equity exposure, not overvaluation. Poolside’s failed raise and lost CoreWeave deal support **new, uncommitted capacity orders being cut first (C)**. SpaceX’s **$22.244bn of company-wide 2027 non-cancellable commitments at 2026-06-30** illustrate rigidity: committed capacity transmits stress mainly through counterparty default. No reviewed lab discloses a training/inference split, so “training first” is unestablished (**C, author inference as of 2026-10-18**; rows 22, 37, 39, 53).

## Analysis

**Where capital outruns demonstrated returns.** Research equity can fund compute and staff before receipts cover costs. Overvaluation would require prices that cannot earn adequate returns after costs and dilution; large rounds alone do not establish that condition. This selected, heterogeneous register does not demonstrate sustainable standalone profitability for its independent labs or a cohort-wide bubble. Scientific collaborations, world-model products and general-purpose APIs need not compete for identical revenue pools. Paying application users establish demand, not operating profit (rows 22, 39, 48).

**xAI is now a hybrid within SpaceX.** The segment includes X and compute infrastructure. Segment adjusted EBITDA adds back depreciation and amortization, share-based compensation, restructuring and impairments; regular salaries are not added back. It is not operating cash flow or proof that capex is self-funded. Cloud agreements drove much of the sales jump. Q3 SI operating profit of $431m reverses Q2’s $1.257bn loss, while $16.444bn capex remains 2.2× $7.560bn revenue. H1’s ratio was 7.0× and Q2’s 6.2×; nine-month SI operating loss remains $3.295bn. Operating profit is not free cash flow (rows 2, 54, 56). Grok subscriptions increased, but standalone revenue, paid subscribers and retention remain undisclosed; combined X/Grok audience is not paid adoption. [S1](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1181412/000162828026052535/spcx-20260630.htm) [S2](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1181412/000162828026052515/earningsreleaseq22608042.htm) [S3](https://x.ai/news/series-e)

Colossus I and II are Memphis-area facilities, but hardware inventories, H100-equivalent performance and nameplate electrical capacity measure different things. The latest inventory is reported from Musk’s statement, not independently inventoried; prospective installations are not operating GPUs. Even the historical company page has inconsistent counts. [S4](https://x.ai/colossus) [S5](https://www.tomshardware.com/tech-industry/data-centers/elon-musks-spacexai-to-add-another-660-000-ai-gpus-this-year-nearing-a-total-of-1-44-million-in-operation-firm-is-building-1-2-gigawatt-power-plant-to-bring-systems-fully-online)

Valor is related-party financing: its founder, CEO and CIO Antonio Gracias is a SpaceX director. The recognized balance grew $8.822bn in H1, from $4.507bn to $13.329bn, with $327m Q2 interest; annualizing that interest over the closing balance gives a rough 9.8% cost proxy, not a contractual yield (rows 7, 54). At September 30 the disclosed related-party aggregate fell to $12.897bn, with $351m Q3 interest. The Q3 exhibit does not name Valor; the aggregate’s full creditor attribution and legal terms await notes (rows 7, 52). The April equipment lease was entered by subsidiary CTC Property, LLC. Separately, the historical xAI and X secured packages were repaid with a $20bn SpaceX unsecured bridge, then refinanced with $25bn parent senior unsecured notes (rows 6, 52). Current debt principal is therefore reconciled, rather than an unresolved sum of historical placements. Original raises, refinancings and current balances must not be added. Related-party governance and parent shareholder dilution now deserve attention alongside creditor recovery; subsidiary guarantees, priority, cross-default and collateral terms still determine ultimate recovery. [S1](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1181412/000162828026052535/spcx-20260630.htm) [S6](https://www.investing.com/news/economy-news/musks-xai-raises-5-billion-each-in-fresh-debt-and-equity-morgan-stanley-says-4118362) [S7](https://ir.apollo.com/news-events/press-releases/detail/599/apollo-backs-5-4-billion-valor-and-xai-data-center-compute)

**Mistral has strategic differentiation.** ASML and Samsung support its industrial/sovereign positioning. Microsoft buys infrastructure access and distributes its models: demand is not wholly hypothetical. Commitments do not establish recognized revenue or margins. The sales estimate and CFO target have different currencies and periods. Its >23.3× forecast-ARR ratio is not a return model: margins, dilution and a target return are needed to judge the growth required. Mistral also has creditor exposure: the March financing provides $830m on a limited-recourse basis for 13,800 GB300 GPUs (row 41). Large 4’s October API preview and reported 3,800-GPU training, plus Munich’s BMW/Siemens Energy work, strengthen the technical and industrial countercase; promised weights remain a future milestone. The 1 GW European compute target for 2030 adds a future financing requirement without establishing its dollar cost or profitable adoption (rows 44–45). [S66](https://www.linklaters.com/en/about-us/news-and-deals/deals/2026/march/linklaters-advises-seven-leading-global-banks) [S69](https://mistral.ai/news/mistral-large-4/) [S70](https://mistral.ai/news/hallo-deutschland/) [S10](https://mistral.ai/news/mistral-ai-raises-1-7-b-to-accelerate-technological-progress-with-ai/) [S11](https://investor.asml.com/news-releases/news-release-details/asml-mistral-ai-enter-strategic-partnership) [S12](https://mistral.ai/news/mistral-makes-sovereign-open-weight-ai-to-frontier/) [S55](https://news.microsoft.com/source/2026/07/21/microsoft-and-mistral-expand-strategic-partnership-to-give-enterprises-and-regulated-industries-frontier-ai-they-can-control/)

**Capital register and revenue test.** The core subtotal is reproducible: SSI + Thinking Machines + Reflection + Ineffable + AMI + Recursive + Periodic = **$9.08bn**. Adding Prometheus and World Labs gives **$28.28bn**; including Isomorphic gives **$30.98bn**. These are selected rounds rather than lifetime funding; undisclosed investments, unconfirmed raises, acquisitions, debt, cloud orders and OpenAI/Anthropic are excluded. Prometheus contributes **58.75%**; excluding it leaves **$12.78bn**, so the headline is concentrated in one industrial-AI company (row 48).

Cursor provides a completed exit at a higher mark: SpaceX’s $60.0bn stock acquisition closed on 2026-08-14, approximately 2.05× the November 2025 $29.3bn valuation (rows 31, 54). World Labs agreed to approximately $8.2bn in AMD stock, but closing and returns remain unestablished (row 19). Mistral (€11.7bn→>€21bn) and Reflection ($8bn reported→$25bn pre-money) repriced upward; Harvey’s latest disclosed mark is $15.5bn. Glean’s June 2025 and SSI’s April 2025 marks are the stalest among these named comparators. These observations weaken a near-term distress thesis without proving attractive final returns. Poolside’s April stress has August refinancing counterevidence; AI21’s restructuring is reported C, while the failed-fundraise lead remains D (rows 10, 13, 15, 33–34, 37, 50, 55). [S74](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1181412/000162828026056945/spcx-20260814.htm)

This **selected research-lab financing register** does not establish low sales for every recipient. TML sales are reported RU; Periodic described customer work; World Labs sells a product. Isomorphic’s entity-only 2025 accounts show **£55.23m collaboration income** and a **£159.42m net loss**, despite nil turnover: management classifies collaboration income outside ordinary activities under IFRS 15. Nil turnover is therefore not no commercial income, and is not comparable with SaaS ARR. The accounts identify Alphabet as controlling member; treating the whole sample as independent venture-funded labs is also inappropriate. Group revenue remains unestablished; a strict low/zero-revenue total still requires comparable accounts and a threshold (row 40). [S65](https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/13223825/filing-history/MzU0ODg5MDE3M2FkaXF6a2N4/document?format=pdf&download=0) [S16](https://www.calcalistech.com/ctechnews/article/hjfywdtajl) [S18](https://www.wired.com/story/thinking-machines-lab-mira-murati-funding/) [S20](https://reflection.ai/blog/building-frontier-open-intelligencence) [S24](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/ineffable-intelligence-selects-google-cloud-to-power-its-superintelligence-mission-302801139.html) [S26](https://www.tradingview.com/news/reuters.com,2026-03-10:newsml_Zaw5qz0nc:0-zawya-pressr-shorooq-invests-in-ami-labs-as-yann-lecun-s-ai-startup-raises-1-03bln/) [S29](https://siliconangle.com/2026/05/13/recursive-superintelligence-raises-650m-build-self-improving-ai-models/) [S31](https://a16z.com/announcement/investing-in-periodic-labs/)

**Funding dependency chain.** NVIDIA invests in customers buying its hardware. Google finances scientific labs and supplies Ineffable’s cloud; Amazon sells Recursive compute; Microsoft provides distribution, credits and infrastructure demand. SoftBank backs Glean and reportedly Perplexity; Qatar Investment Authority/MGX back xAI, MGX also Isomorphic. A16z links TML, SSI, Mistral and Periodic; Thrive links Isomorphic/Cursor; Founders Fund backs adjacent coding demand through Cognition. Bezos’s Prometheus investment is personal. TML’s March announcement ties NVIDIA’s undisclosed investment to a planned **at least 1 GW Vera Rubin deployment targeted for early 2027**: a concrete dependency, not installed capacity or a disclosed dollar liability (row 42). October reporting of further NVIDIA investment in or acquisition of Reflection could change the independent-lab perimeter if completed; unverified talks alone establish neither distress nor investor returns and stay outside capital totals (row 49). Correlated funding is not proof of fictitious sales. **Chinese pricing shows tiering; open weights can pressure rents.** As of 2026-10-18, selected Flash tiers list at $0.15–0.30 input and $0.50–1.20 output per million tokens, while flagships list at $1.32/$3.96 (DeepSeek V4-Pro peak), $1.40/$4.40 (GLM-5.3) and $3/$15 (Kimi K3). GLM-5.1–5.3 list prices exceed GLM-5 by 40% input and 37.5% output; that is a cross-model comparison, not a measured increase for the same model. Qwen’s quoted Plus and Max prices are proprietary hosted models, so they bound open-weight competition only indirectly. DeepSeek’s $5.576m official-run figure excludes prior research and is not an all-in training cost. Comparable all-in costs for Moonshot, Qwen, Zhipu and MiniMax remain unverified (rows 23–27, 29). Prices differ by cache, geography, latency, context and quality. Cheaper useful tasks can expand inference despite margin compression. Reflection’s October 16 Apache-2.0 Beam release, public-beta API and over 40 partners/integrations weaken a pre-product narrative and expand distribution; they do not establish paying adoption or margins (row 43). [S68](https://reflection.ai/blog/beam-is-available) [S33](https://arxiv.org/abs/2412.19437) [S34](https://api-docs.deepseek.com/quick_start/pricing/) [S75](https://platform.kimi.ai/docs/pricing/chat) [S36](https://www.alibabacloud.com/help/en/model-studio/model-pricing) [S37](https://docs.z.ai/guides/overview/pricing) [S39](https://platform.minimax.io/docs/pricing/overview)

**Corporate subsidy and application demand.** Meta’s profitable advertising-led group can fund MSL as internal R&D; no disclosed MSL segment supports assigning all corporate capex or R&D to that lab. Its spending is less dependent on a venture round, though exposed to management’s return requirements. Q2 operating cash flow of **$31.862bn** less **$31.078bn capex including lease principal** left **$0.784bn free cash flow**; operating profit overstates the discretionary cash cushion (row 46). SpaceX’s liquidity likewise reflects **approximately $85.7bn net IPO proceeds and $25bn bonds in June**, or **$110.7bn combined**, against **approximately $100bn cash/securities at June 30** and **$38.433bn debt principal excluding finance leases** (rows 6, 9, 47). This supports near-term financing capacity; it is not a legal recovery estimate for unsecured bondholders. Corporate ownership changes the financing channel without eliminating capital-market dependence. [S2](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1181412/000162828026052515/earningsreleaseq22608042.htm) [S41](https://investor.atmeta.com/investor-news/press-release-details/2026/Meta-Reports-Second-Quarter-2026-Results/)

These applications monetize coding, search, legal work, enterprise knowledge and customer service. Cursor has been wholly owned by SpaceX since 2026-08-14 and is no longer an independent application lab. Its Compute Agreement puts model collaboration and GPU supply within the same group after closing. The Q3 exhibit now measures $608m of Cursor revenue since closing and $1.217bn acquisition-related SBC in SI. Acquired revenue and activated cloud agreements explain part of segment growth; the February run-rate is not current quarterly revenue and the residual is not a clean organic Grok measure (rows 3, 31). Multiples compare equity values with annualized sales, sometimes at mismatched dates. Adding app sales and upstream model receipts double-counts intermediate payments. Hosting, retrieval, support and implementation also affect margins; cost of revenue alone cannot reveal model-provider share. Provider-payment shares and comparable audited margins are not established by the disclosures reviewed here. Cursor’s own models and Harvey’s post-trained open-weight model also mean app growth need not translate proportionally into external frontier-model purchases (row 51). [S42](https://cursor.com/blog/series-d) [S44](https://www.investing.com/news/stock-market-news/nvidia-discusses-perplexity-investment-at-30-billionplus-valuation-the-information-reports-4872594) [S45](https://www.harvey.ai/blog/harvey-raises-dollar550m-at-a-dollar155b-valuation-to-help-legal-teams-own-their-intelligence) [S47](https://www.glean.com/press/glean-surpasses-300m-arr-unrivaled-enterprise-context-fuels-ai-adoption) [S49](https://sierra.ai/blog/year-two-in-review) [S51](https://sacra.com/c/sierra/)

**Funding-winter transmission: inference, grade C.** Poolside’s failed raise and lost CoreWeave deal support new, uncommitted capacity orders being cut first (row 37, C); this is a mechanism supported by one case, not a measured cohort frequency. Committed capacity is less flexible: SpaceX discloses $27.955bn company-wide non-cancellable obligations, including $22.244bn due in 2027, primarily AI infrastructure/cloud capacity and other arrangements, including spectrum consideration (row 53). Those amounts are not all GPU orders or incremental to Valor debt. Stress on committed capacity transmits mainly through counterparty default; successful renegotiation remains possible. No reviewed lab discloses its training/inference split, so training-first sequencing is unknown. Defaults could impair GPU loans and release rental capacity, depressing new-chip demand; successful apps and corporate buyers could absorb supply. Poolside’s April stress must be read alongside the August counterevidence (row 50), not as a shutdown. The World Labs acquisition agreement shows a possible strategic route for talent/IP value, but does not establish closing or fund-level realized returns. Net GPU-demand loss remains unquantified. ## Conflicts and open questions

- **2026-10-21 update — profitability and financing perimeter:** Q3’s $431m SI operating profit supersedes the Summary’s loss-only current picture; Q2’s $1.257bn loss remains historical. This improves the operating evidence while $16.444bn SI capex and the group’s $34.972bn nine-month OCF/capex difference preserve the funding question. September’s $12.897bn is a related-party aggregate, not an explicitly named Valor balance; do not label the decline a documented Valor repayment. Cursor’s $608m acquired sales prevent treating all SI growth as organic (rows 2–3, 7, 31, 56). [S81](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1181412/000162828026066482/spaceexplorationtechnologi.htm)

- **Valuation judgment — both views (C):** The original note argued for a “distinct neolab valuation/funding bubble risk” and described investors pricing each lab for durable frontier rents. The [Codex cross-check](/reviews/labs-other-codex-xcheck) finds elevated, uneven financing/valuation risk but no demonstrated cohort-wide bubble: heterogeneous selected rounds do not reveal expected returns. The revised assessment retains the risk while leaving overvaluation unproved pending margins, dilution and return assumptions (rows 22, 39, 48).
- **Mistral return judgment — both views:** The original note said the newer valuation “requires substantial growth.” The reviewer regards that as a judgment requiring a target return, margin and dilution model; the forecast-ARR ratio alone cannot establish the growth needed. Strategic backing, product progress and industrial work support a countercase, while limited-recourse infrastructure financing introduces creditor exposure (rows 10–11, 36, 41, 44–45).
- **Funding-winter sequence — Codex versus Claude (C):** The [Codex cross-check](/reviews/labs-other-codex-xcheck) found no established first-cut sequence because contracts, liquidity and priorities differ. The [Claude cross-check](/reviews/labs-other-claude-xcheck) finds that too cautious for uncommitted orders: Poolside’s lost CoreWeave deal supports new orders being cut first, while committed capacity transmits mainly through default. Both reject a known training-versus-inference sequence. The revised analysis adopts Claude’s narrower order mechanism while retaining Codex’s limits on cohort frequency and net demand loss (rows 37, 39, 42, 50, 53).
- **Corporate cushion and credit scope — both views:** The original note emphasized Meta’s profits, SpaceX’s liquidity and lab/parent loss exposure. The reviewer qualifies that cushion with Meta’s limited cash remaining after capex and SpaceX’s external financing, and rejects inferring unrestricted parent recourse from consolidated debt recognition. The subsidiary boundary and Mistral’s limited-recourse financing require separate recovery analysis (rows 41, 46–47, 52).
- **Register and stress framing — both views:** The original label was “precommercial-or-revenue-undisclosed” and Poolside served mainly as stress/strategic-exit evidence. The reviewer finds the register heterogeneous and Isomorphic’s entity accounts informative about commercial income but not group sales; later Poolside evidence also tempers a failure narrative. Product availability and acquisition agreements do not establish sustainable margins or realized investor returns (rows 19, 40, 43–45, 48, 50).
- **Evidence-grade disagreement:** The original note graded all Prometheus round/valuation reporting C and Reflection’s newer valuation/timing C. The reviewer verifies investor/company attestations sufficient for A statements: Prometheus’s Series B/approximate valuation and Reflection’s raise/latest pre-money valuation. Earlier Prometheus funding and its combined total, Reflection’s earlier reported valuation and disputed timing remain C; no closing documents are claimed inspected (rows 12, 15). [S64](https://www.sparklabsgroup.com/portfolio/prometheus) [S21](https://reflection.ai/newsroom)
- **Countercase:** TML offers Tinker/Inkling, Reflection released Beam’s weights and public-beta API and Periodic describes customer work. Products exist; durable margins remain unknown. [S68](https://reflection.ai/blog/beam-is-available) [S58](https://thinkingmachines.ai/) [S31](https://a16z.com/announcement/investing-in-periodic-labs/)
- **Funding countercase:** SpaceX has liquidity and NVIDIA invested in SSI; neither establishes attractive equity returns. Reflection’s reported October talks remain unconfirmed and could fail (row 49). [S2](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1181412/000162828026052515/earningsreleaseq22608042.htm) [S17](https://investor.nvidia.com/news/press-release-details/2026/Ilya-Sutskevers-Safe-Superintelligence-Inc--and-NVIDIA-Announce-Long-Term-Strategic-Partnership/default.aspx)
- **Pricing countercase:** Z.AI reports upward pricing, MiniMax a discount, DeepSeek peak/off-peak tiers. Universal price collapse is unsupported. [S38](https://www1.hkexnews.hk/listedco/listconews/sehk/2026/0831/2026083101539.pdf) [S39](https://platform.minimax.io/docs/pricing/overview) [S34](https://api-docs.deepseek.com/quick_start/pricing/)
- **Dating and valuation traps:** Reflection’s funding page displays an earlier date than contemporaneous round reporting; its newsroom labels the newer valuation pre-money. AMI’s investor release explicitly says pre-money. Round size, valuation basis and cash-closing dates need transaction documents. [S20](https://reflection.ai/blog/building-frontier-open-intelligencence) [S21](https://reflection.ai/newsroom) [S26](https://www.tradingview.com/news/reuters.com,2026-03-10:newsml_Zaw5qz0nc:0-zawya-pressr-shorooq-invests-in-ami-labs-as-yann-lecun-s-ai-startup-raises-1-03bln/)
- **Cursor status — Codex versus Claude:** Codex verified the $60bn agreement but did not verify closing; Claude found the 2026-08-14 8-K establishing completion. The fresh fetch confirms Claude: Cursor is a wholly owned SpaceX subsidiary. Codex’s caution about an unclosed World Labs agreement remains applicable to World Labs, not Cursor (rows 19, 31).
- **Related-party financing and loss allocation — Codex versus Claude:** Codex emphasized unresolved subsidiary guarantees, priority and collateral recovery, and warned that SpaceX liquidity reflected external financing. Claude emphasizes Valor’s board connection, xAI’s repayment via parent unsecured debt and the shift toward shareholder dilution; it judges SpaceX bondholders well covered by liquidity. Both concerns are retained: cash and debt balances support funding capacity, while they do not settle legal recovery or remove correlated financing risk (rows 6–7, 9, 47, 52–54).
- **Pricing interpretation — Codex versus Claude:** Codex retained open weights as a threat to rents while already rejecting universal price collapse. Claude finds the cheap-tier/stale-Moonshot framing overstated commoditization: current flagships hold higher prices and GLM’s newer generations list above GLM-5. The revised analysis distinguishes tiers, hosted proprietary Qwen models and cross-model versus matched-model price changes (rows 24–29).
- **Exits and distress — Codex versus Claude:** Codex finds elevated, uneven financing risk without an established cohort default frequency; Claude treats Cursor’s higher-mark exit and up-rounds as reasons for lower near-term distress estimates. Claude’s assessment also calls Cursor and World Labs exits, whereas Codex correctly keeps World Labs at agreement stage. Cursor’s completion is verified; World Labs closing and fund-level returns remain unknown. Cursor was already acquired before the forecast register’s 2026-10-17 origin and should not remain an independent-lab constituent; forecast changes are outside this note’s edit scope (rows 19, 31, 39, 54).
- **Fresh-fetch qualification to Claude’s TML addition:** The review calls ~$50bn talks a later escalation from $40bn. Bloomberg Law’s fetched 2026-02-06 report and September reporting place the ~$50bn ambitions earlier; September’s ≥$40bn talks and NVIDIA’s ~$2.5bn participation remain C and unclosed. Tulloch’s reported departure dates to October 2025, not a new October 2026 event (row 14).
- **AI21 lead versus corroboration:** Claude supplied a D aggregator lead about restructuring and a failed raise. Fetched CTech original reporting supports restructuring and failed acquisition talks at C, but not a failed major financing round. The latter remains D/unverified and is not counted as another verified failed raise (row 55).
- **Unverified:** standalone Grok economics; complete newer neolab round amounts; comparable training costs; application provider-payment shares; Valor guarantees/collateral terms. Current SpaceX debt principal and the repayment chain are reconciled in row 6; lifetime gross borrowing is a different, unnecessary sum. No verified cohort-wide count of down rounds, shutdowns or failed raises was established. Absence of evidence is not a zero count.
